To complement the 50s Cars & Culture exhibition, I worked with George Frayne, AKA Commander Cody. George focused on the grills of the cars that had a very aeronautical look. Automotive design drew influence from the war time - planes, thanks, bombs bullets - this all stemmed from WWII and the look and feel coming out of the war time air craft.
